The Backstory

The title "Drone Lord" was created after a UAS conference more than 10 years ago.

Distinguished scientist, colleague, and friend, Dr. Peter Fuhr, introduced me as "The Drone Lord" 

to a group of people we met after the the conference. 

We happened to be in a casino at the time.

The title stuck and we have enjoyed the inside joke for years.

Now however, the real threat of small UAS has evolved into an existential threat to Western Civilization. 

Unmanned systems have changed from technology that we had helped develop to improve the human condition, to AI-enabled autonomous machines that are killing people and changing the face of warfare.

So, using the  nom de plume  and  nom de guerre "The Drone Lord",  I've returned to the arena to help protect and improve the human condition.
